235 - Creare 64bit Virtual Machine in VMWare

If you want to create a virtual machine in VMWare ESXi5 or else. You need to modify the Server BIOS before that.

This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible sometimes.
That is "VT-capable". VT might be disabled if it has been disabled in the BIOS settings or the host has not been power-cycled
since changing this setting.

To enable 64-Bit support for Virtual Machines in VMware ESXi, you must Enable Virtualization Technology and to configure the ESX host for Enhanced
vMotion Compatibility, you must Enable Execute Disable. These settings can be found under the CPU info section of the Dell BIOS.

Ex. Dell Server

1. F2 to enter Dell Bios on the PowerEdge while rebooting.

2. Navigate the menu, you can find the followings.

* Execute DisableĀ  ---> Enabled
* Virtualization Technology --> Enabled
